Hi guys,
does anyone have any experience with this bullet?
I have just ordered some to use in my 30-06 sprg. i will be using them for deer stalking predominantly. They look like the speer trophy bonded bear claw bullets that were previously available.
Thanks
Swampy

I guess ANY 170gr pill is going to do a deer a lot of no good! PPU stuff seems alright from what I've used.
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.

The PPV is a lot better these days and I know a couple of people using it who have not mentioned it which must be a good sign
I was given half a dozen boxes of factory .308/150 expanding a few years ago and it was a cracking round right up to the 7th shot which was a good bit high and right. They used to throw a couple of flyers in every box which is why I was given them. The shooter who had them and I were very impressed with accuracy but as he said, now way would he take a shot at anything over 50 yards just in case and even then he was not happy.

I've found the rass to be excellent for reloading.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
