ADVICE NEEDED FROM UNIQUE ALPINE TPG 1 SHOOTERS

#1 Post by ANDY T »

Hi
would like some advice from any Unique Alpine TPG 1 shooter on setting up this rifle and problem solving.
I just cannot get consistent good groups and i know its not the ammo or trigger, So any tips on setting up this rifle or making adjustments that would help with the accuracy would be very appreciated.

Regards
Andy

Andy, I don't own a TPG, but a friend does, yours should be outstanding!

How do you know it's not the ammo, incidently? Just because something shot well in one, doesn't mean it will shoot well in the other. When I was running two Remingtons, I couldn't interchange the ammo....

As for the TPG, are you sure everything is tight considering the barrel swapping facility? And, have you considered some you know to be an adequate marksman to have a go? You may have to "train" yourself to use the rifle. From my experience of the UA, the stock design is not one you get hold of, but one you fit into to....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!
