dropped it off 1400hrs thursday and lady behind counter said pick up has gone (miles from nowhere) so it will go tomorrow. Got email next morning from bloke saying great MH mate cheers.

I have always sent mine through local post office, signed for. Up till now I never had any problems, but sending a sword through the is a different matter.

Posted a couple of shotguns recently.
The Post Office only accepted them in the end after several attempts & the local police getting involved!

They'd ZERO knowledge that guns COULD be sent by Royal Mail.
No feedback as yet on the resulting complaints lodged.
