Fac overland conditions

My local force (merseyside) have granted my an open cert and alq for my my .22lr and .17hmr .. I might be getting a permission in nearby lancs .. I know they only like centrefire for fox ..
I assume I can still use my rifles for fox in lancs because my certificate says so ??

As long as you can humanely kill the said fox, then I'd say yes. But I personally wouldn't want to see a wounded fox run off and die on its own because I've not managed to take it in one shot. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't shoot at one over about 10 with the hmr and 50m with the .22lr

You are only bound by the conditions on your certificate regardless of where you are in the country. Policies applied by other forces should not affect you. However I would however say that I believe that Lancs have adopted a good policy in this respect and that a .17hmr or .22lr should not be your chosen gun to use for fox control other than at short range, as neither cartridge was designed for the task and there are much better tools for the purpose.
