Grants

#1 Post by wildrover77 »

anyone got experience of gaining grants for developing a rifle range.

We need to redevelop our range, we have a good local grant funding body to apply to but I am interested in hearing about lottery/ sports funding.

Hi,

We have been redeveloping our range (Bookham Rifle club) since last year, new club house, updated ranges and various other items. I believe we achieved approx £100k from various funding bodies.

Give Tim Hammond at GT shooting a call as he is our club secretary and might be able to give you some good advise.

Good luck,
Mark

North Coates Butts are in the process of looking at a new indoor 50m range and I do believe they either have some grants/funding in place or are investigating them at present. Their contact is Martin Appleton mobile 07776 192496

Best regards

Thanks for the help

We are looking at rebuilding our indoor range, the building is well past its useful life.

Should we sell and move to an out of town site?

Lottery sports grants are on hold until May/June.
