Impulse buy - Swede 94 carbine

#1 Post by rufrdr »

Was offered a Swede 94 carbine by the range owner last weekend, thought about it for a week and bought it today. According to a fellow on Gunboards, the stock disk indicates it was used for gallery shooting by the Swedish Air Force.

I wasn't looking to buy any more surplus arms but the price was about half its retail value so I moved on it.

Reminds me of the few hours I spent at the sStockholm Arms Fair, sitting at a table making 20 M94 slings.

Nice carbine....though I prefer the 96/38 carbine personally

I agree, I've owned both the 96/38 and the 38 and they are shooting machines. This one was too cute to pass up. I sold a somewhat defaced S&W Victory .38 special revolver and some ammo that I wasn't going to shoot anyway to pay for this one.
