Here's a thought.

Every time you log usage on the NRA system (even from home) it gives an option for Bisley or "other".

Quite why they dont allow a free text input for "other" or a booking reg for Bisley is beyond me, because it is quite an easy thing to fudge of questioned....I was there with a mate etc etc.

There are loads of ways to record it, but generally unless it is verified it would not stand up in a court of law. lets face it it should not need to though.

What I do is this

I keep a log of my batched brass on pre printed logs I fill in after each load. I keep these in a poly pocket folder with test targets etc. When I scrap a batch the sheets go in a sleeve at the back with "Scrapped" writ large in red accros the sheet....so it covers past use etc. Obvioulsy I dont have the dates used on them as a rule (unless I log something like a sweet load ONO), and I could fudge them, but as my scrawl and impliment ranges from blood to finest Quink they should realise they were not all done at the same time. We should be keeping reloading logs anyway.

I also empty my spent primer catcher into an old powder can...so that should cover most factory if I ever shoot it....its quite a weighty tub now.

Another habit I have is (apart from the CSR comps where there will be an attendance record and results anyway) is to keep plot sheets be they NRA face type or my own to cover Mil targets such as Fig14/12/12c etc. This may be the only tangible evidence left that I ever shot a thing so why not log it, and again this is evidence that you should have been at A on such and such a date. Its also good to keep on top of all sorts or performence and data parameters...like it helps....

I also keep a spreadsheet of shoots, mainly for this reason but also to give an idea of how much I am putting through rifles.

None of this costs anything other than a few minutes but if the question was ever asked...hell yes I use the ones I have.
