Got a carrier for a .357 post '64, 94?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Quickly and UK based? I can order in parts as well, from the USA. It would be nice to have a UK source.

Bradaz, as much as I enjoy working on the Winchesters such as the 1894 I only know what spares I need for my own work and I tend to end up making my own. There seems to be a distinct lack of after market tuning parts for Winchesters such as the 1894 whereas the Marlin 1894 is oversubscribed.

We will certainly be spending a lot more time with the Winchester and Marlin offerings in the new year if only to support our own ever expanding collection and I do have a couple of 'tweaks' in mind :p

Sim G, thanks for that detailed reply, very interesting to know, I had picked up some of it from friends at my club but never realised how much Remington actually Marlin over to begin with.

Think I'll stick with trying to get a JM stamped Marlin until some of the 2015 models or later make their way over here.

Let me know when you get one....my mate in Edinburgh tunes them & has fettled most of the ones used by thr Scottish gallery rifle team. The main thing to get done is the anti-jam (Marlin jam) upgrade.

Will do Saddler, never realised you're from East lothian. Won't be getting one for the next few months, still waiting on Tullibody getting their arses together and getting my ticket.
