UKPSA - Course
I have contacted the UKPSA to find out when the next LBP and .22LR safety course is being held. So far not reply from them. Have any forum members any info on up coming courses?
Any info would be a help - I do not mind travelling so any area of the UK is OK but up North by choice as I live in Co Durham.
Thanks

Re: UKPSA - Course
AFAIK there are no .22 rifle only/specific courses as the shotgun course authorises you for both, and as the majority of UKPSA shooting is with shotguns thats how most people get it. You've just missed one which was up here too! (Well at Carlisle/Crocketford). There's one in Essex on Saturday but i'd be surprised if that was full now. Here's the email address of the organiser if you're desperate; Michelle@MiniRifle.co.uk
The last pistol course (the shotgun course does not cover you for handguns) this year is down in Leicester but is now fully booked.
However, as there are no L2 or higher LBP/rifle/shotgun matches scheduled for this year and next years haven't been released yet, you're not missing anything, yet.
Bob Dunkley is willing to run a pistol course at his place if the numbers can be put together, i think 8 is the minimum when i spoke to him about it. Myself and the 2 lads i shoot with want to do the pistol course (so we can go over to shoot normal handguns in IPSC matches in Ireland), the only problem is, only one of us have an LBP at the moment, and because of the stupid non-sharing rule on them it means two of us can't do it until we get our own guns.
Hopefully we'll be sorting that in early 2016 so we'll be looking to get a course organised at Bobs then.
There is usually a shotgun course in February/March at Carlisle/Crocketford which is as close as you're going to get which would cover you for rifles.

No harm in asking! We've asked on two separate occasions recently though and 8 was as low as we could get him. Its just a pity it can't be ran using airsoft pistols!

Re: UKPSA - Course
If you speak to Bob about running a course, I'll definitely be up for it - shotgun/mini rifle/LBP. That would be very handy indeed :)
