At our club the secretary holds the club FAC but he was ill earlier this year and knew he would be unable to get to the range for a while so we got a condition added to my certificate that allows me to store & transport club firearms & ammunition. I can also buy ammunition with the club cert so long as I take my own FAC with me as well to show the condition to the dealer.

I'm our club Sec and have the club ticket but what we then have is other main committee members who have the club guns and additional quantities of assiciatted ammo listed on there tickets as a borrow and use type of function which allows them to carry and store these guns and ammo at their address as if it were there own . Other club members can use the weapons but this covers for me being ill or absent and thus keeps the club guns usable if I am away . We just sent a letter to the police firearms and the extra guns and ammo where added to the individuals ticket thus the club only has one ticket but multiple storage and transport options , hope this helps .BasicLly as above but didn't know about the ammo purchase option , Rgds Ian
