I used to be able to get my No4(T) nicely on the paper and in the black (1.2m frames) at 1000 yards with S&B however it was quite variable from box to box and 1200 was a bridge too far.. That was with a matching Kershaw No32 Mk1 with late index drums and from memory the centre post appeared wider than the target frame at that distance
