Nope - aside from the previously mentioned offerings from CZ, Ruger and the AR platform I think you are out of luck.
I believe the OP was looking more for a "budget" gun...
Anyway, there is one more rifle I can think of. Good luck finding one thought and even if you do good luck with getting the money! I remember a while back on one of the US forums one guy posted a link to a website selling them for >$8,000 USD.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SV-98

I wonder were he got 5.45x39 ammo over here?, it is pretty rare and I have only ever seen it listed once. That's the reason nobody bothered bringing 5.45x39 Saigas into the UK, once you'd have one you'd struggle to feed it. [Snyperskaya]
Back when York Guns imported a lot of commercial Russian Barnaul 7.62X39mm FMJ ammo, they had a small conisgnment of 5.45mm in stock which I suspect had been supplied in error. It was 'hunting ammo' too with expanding bullets, so would have been impossible to shift in the UK as it wasn't deer legal and the number of sporting shooters using this calibre here must be ..... nil? I grabbed some pics of it as a one-off opportunity.

Some people are far too precious...I was referring to the fact that it's a bolt action in a Russian calibre as per the OP.
Yeah???...and?.
I was referring to the fact that whoever buys that bolt action rifle in a Russian calibre, that being 5.45x39, will struggle to find a sustainable source of ammunition.
The other thing myself and Breacher were referring to was the reference in the advert to the AK-47 being 5.45......which it isn't and never has been.
I think you have been a bit precious in assuming a dig was being made at your post, which it wasn't, we were merely pointing out the inaccuracy of the statement in the seller of the rifles advertisement.
I now see the point that you and Breacher were making and apologise for my comment/response.
No problem my mate

I was going to add that talk of AK47's is a bit incorrect too. Most AK variants people have seen are the AKM's and possibly AK74's with recent events. Sadly there is no good source of 5.45x39 in this country as you say.
Series 1 AK-47s are collectors items now, and as said the vast majority of AKs in use around the world at the moment are AKM variants with the Chinese Type56 and the Romanian PM md 63/65 being two of the most prolific.Outside of Russia and former Soviet States that haven't joined NATO the 5.45x39 AK-74 is not that common.......but it is used by Cypriot special forces!.
