$325 for all of that is f-ing ridiculous!!! Amazing, definitely something to tick of the list before 50!

Here's last year's match in case you haven't seen any of it before and want to see what you're missing!

The match runs from Wednesday 23rd-Friday 25th, with prizegiving on the Saturday.

Thanks for the Video

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!

I've got a day in Washington DC before heading to the range tomorrow for registration and briefing before the match starts on Thursday.
In the meantime, the Pope has just arrived in DC and this is a taste of the preparations for his visit...

My prize

The goody bag handed out to everyone contained three Pmags and a few other bits and pieces.
Enough prizes on the prize tables for all 220 competitors to come away with something.
And before you ask, no I'm not going to try and bring that home in my luggage...
A challenging and enjoyable match shooting with some great guys and gals.
You should try it!

Re: NRA World shooting Championships (USA)
No, sadly not but I was probably about 2 inches from winning the first stage I shot, which was 5 steels at 800 yards. I hit the first 4 no problem but just missed the 5th, all in under 13 seconds, which was the fastest time AFAIK.
The rifle I picked up at the prize table is a FNH FN-15 DMR, worth about $1600. I was in 25th place in pro, but there were plenty more long guns and pistols left after that.
