Continuity ACPO publishes gun ban shopping list

#1 Post by Gaz »

Internal police documents seen by UK Shooting News have revealed that police firearms licensing employees want to ban: .22 semi-autos; magazine-fed shotguns; all 50-cals; section 2 certificates; free 1-for-1 variations; old spec deactivated firearms; antique firearms; and appeals to courts against police decisions.

UK Shooting News’ author assures readers that this is all real, and not some feverish nightmare.

Full credit to Firearms UK for submitting the FOI request (at my request), the full results of which are linked at the bottom of that blog post.

We're in for a very hard and bloody fight when the Law Commission eventually opens up to reviewing licensing law once their present exercise moves into its next stage. Continuity ACPO are basically trying to ban everything they can think of which isn't a bolt action rifle or over-and-under shotgun.

Of course they want to ban them, ooman, and / or make money from anything they don't ban. The law abiding will acquiesce and the criminals will just continue being so...

We are facing the same threat as 1997 be warned ! Let's hope the NRA doesn't sell us down the river and agree to acpo demands ! Start writing to your MPs now !

Since when do the police make the law in this country ?
If they get their way I suggest that the government give the police seats in parliament and do away with courts

Also enjoy what can now ! Shoot as much ammo you can afford because this time next year we might be shooting jack

It is like the proverb about the frog and the skorpion , they do it because thats what they do!
They will never stop until all bow down before them and submit, resistance is futile!!

Hmm. Let's presume the scaremongering ( lots of out of context and irrelevant hearsay plus a good dose of supposition in this article) is on point and get organised now. What do NRA and BASC have to say?
