That was my thought, key them so you can add/remove sections as required. Makes transporting them easier too!

I could cut as many layers as required for a decent fit but I agree, 3D printed would be cool :D

Paul, are you printing in PLA or ABS?

My original one? It is solid...

Plastic used? I couldn't tell you tbh, i get the bits printed for me, i dont have a printer of my own... Yet ;)

Mine are 20mm deep overall, 15mm bore depth at 21mm diameter...

It may be worth adding a bit of depth if the construction is going to be 'open', at my dimensions the cartridges fit just nice but they are solid bores so the bottom of the cartridge cant pivot round the top of the support making it loose, maybe if making it from having bores top and bottom for the cartridge to locate in would reduce some movement :)
