FTR scope

#1 Post by johngarnett »

Ok guys, I tried a search and got no where so.......

What is the favourite scope for 308 FTR, 300 to 1000, I'm liking a variable 8-24 ish, 30 mm tube etc?

FFP or SFP, which???

Thanks for help

John, it depends so much on budget however the Sightron 'scopes seem to fit the bill, they are light, reasonably priced and seem to be very reliable. I would suggest SFP as you are shooting at known distances and keep to a reasonably uncluttered reticle with MOA turrets.

Having said all this I shoot to 1200 with an FFP 4-16 PMII with 1/10mil klicks and an incredibly cluttered reticle....

EDIT Shout if you get stuck.

If you look at a Sightron s111 8-32x56 with the MOA reticle you'll not go far wrong.
