Could anyone please tell me what size punch I would need to remove the gas block on my AR

Try 1/8", if that doesn't fit try the next size down.

Hi Hunter, the roll pin itself is 0.078". so 5/16 will w2ork. I went ahead and bought the Geissele Gas Block Pin Punch Set made specifically for the removal and installation of the 0.078 roll pin. $25 for the set of two punches might seem a little expensive but other punches I tried bent when trying to remove the gas block. The Geissele punch set got the job done without any fuss as they are hardened treated steel.
