Has anyone got any first hand experience with a Anschutz 1740 in 222?
My varmint barreled Howa in 223 had to go as it was just way to heavy for foxing/muntjac and running dear.
My initial preference was to go Sako 75 or Tikka 595/T3 but there are not many about but there look to be a few Anschutz 1740 around but information on them is a bit sparse.

Re: Anschutz 1740
I had an Anschutz in .222 and could never get it to group well.
I now have a Tikka 595 and a Tikka T3 both in .222 and they are exceptionally accurate.

I have seen a few Tikka T3 222 but all require RFD- RFD transfers due to location.
I guess suck up the traditional cost or road trip time
