I have had a 450 press for about 40 yrs! Only prob was the Perspex hopper tube cracked. I asked about replacement cost from US and received two FOC. Can't complain about that

Do rcbs do a progressive press? Hornady aren't very popular but I've heard there mid range......the word on the street is and always has been dillon for lots of rounds I.E. Gallery rifle....lee is ok but ide only ever use their heavy duty single stage press....that loadmaster ughhhhh

With regards to the progressive presses.does anyone here use them for loading out to a 1000yds.is the powder dispenser accurately dropping powder.

Yes.

Never tried using an on-press measure though, so can't comment on that aspect.

I run case-prep as normal, at full speed (circa 1000 per hour). During the loading pass I drop a weighed charge into a case-operated powder drop; the rest runs as normal, including bullet feeder etc, which produces between 250 and 300 per hour, depending on the charge precision required.
