When I was at Wolves Uni. some time back, some bright fillum un meeja stoodents wanted access to a working pistol for a film they were making. (Pre-ban days, so I had a few: hell, I even spent one of my Student Loans on a Ruger Blackhawk .30-M1)
Somehow they were put in contact with me....12,000 students chime up "Go see Jon..."

After outlining their small budget & showing much interest in the P38 they finished off with the GEM that the final scene would be the pistol being chopped up with an angle grinder. They seemed most put out when I told them which aperture to shove the camera into.
