Nice collection of pewter from this mornings car boot sale, £1 each, think they will add to the pot very nice!! Pewter is 85–99% tin, with the remainder consisting of copper, antimony, bismuth - when added to lead it is supposed to help fill out your bullet mould better, while slightly increasing hardness - At 3% tin to lead I recon this should be good added to 30kg of lead!
Should keep the Martini-Henry fed for a while!

3% is too high and a waste of the tin, 1% maximum is all you need to get good fillout.
The antimony will give you all the hardness you may need.
