You can also use a small G clamp with one of the pads sawn off (the one on the threaded part). It makes a cheap clamp which you can use without taking the nose cap off.

Right, so on Sunday I was at Barton Road and I took my P14. At 300 yards I had to dial up the rear sight to 600 yards and I was about 30cms-ish to the right. Below was shot prone from the sling.
I was using home loads, but I have had this issue with factory loads too. I think it's the sights.
