Brad I can actually see that making sense. Probably why its best to just put pistol and not try and muddy the waters. Oh boy its a cluster.bradaz11 wrote:well pistol does cover revolver. revolver doesn't cover pistolSixshot6 wrote: Also S Yorks police accept LBR's on LBP slots from what I've seen (I once had a 38/357 long barrel pistol rather than revolver slot, though strangely they do list muzzle loading revolvers as pistols).

Be as vague as you can when asking for things, gives you more room for choiceSixshot6 wrote:Brad I can actually see that making sense. Probably why its best to just put pistol and not try and muddy the waters. Oh boy its a cluster.bradaz11 wrote:

well i more meant the 'you can't be stopped' bit.Gazoo wrote: It's just a 22 LR rifle really, isn't it? That's why they make them have the knitting needle to extend the length..I thought?
When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns
Re: Have you ever had a variation rejected?
You're damn right, its good to be vague. They didn't even want to know what my MARS was, just wanted caliber and type. Was still shocked at it being listed as a semi auto thoughbradaz11 wrote:Be as vague as you can when asking for things, gives you more room for choiceSixshot6 wrote:Brad I can actually see that making sense. Re: Have you ever had a variation rejected?
Not a variation, but having just applied & received my FAC & SGC, I put in for the following & got it all without any fuss to my surprise.
3 x .22lr with 1500 rounds of .22lr ammo
1 x .308/7.62 with 600 rounds of .308/7.62 ammo
1 x section 1 shotgun with 200 slug
Also I was granted a moderator for the 4 rifles
I was warned by friends who shoot that I'd unlikely get the section 1 let alone the slug & that my 1500 would probably be reduced to 1000 possibly less, but no I got what I put in for so can't complain. I had good reason though to request what I have so that helps.
My wife was granted the same ammo amounts too.
