Another New toy

#1 Post by 20series »

Since everyone seems to be getting new toys to play with I was starting to feel left out, so I've invested my self :D well I will have when my variation comes back.

Ooh, so this is the .223 straight pull with the ability to convert to .22LR S/A as well? It does look very nice ;)

I have to admit it's lovely to shoot, I had a play last night and it's a cracking rifle in the .223 guise.

I will stick with the .22 Ceiner kit for a bit but will probaly buy a proper .22lr upper next year.

I'm now like a kid waiting for Xmas

The only separate 22 uppers readily available is the Spikes I believe.

No, Bob Clarke of Southern Gun will sell an upper separately, but it's operation is anot AR like.

I've previosly had two straight pull AR's. The first I bought with compensation (30 pieces of silver) from the handguns, which was a bog standard SGC Speedmaster. A few years later I went the whole hog with another SGC and spent way too much money on it!! It would go to a 1000 though with 77gn SMK's.

Eventually sold that to get an RPA Interceptor. Now I don't regret that at all, but I do miss the AR....

pe4king has a cracker! I keep telling him it's "ours", but he seems to disagree.......
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I emailed Mark recently and he replied saying he's stopped doing 22 s.

SGC are supposed to be introducing a new 22 as there current model is a bit long in the tooth and you may have to wait months or even years to get one Lan tac may have CMMG uppers in the coming months.
