I've got the reference book on the Model 70.
What era are you wanting to know about?
Pre-war, pre-64 or post-64?

My 70 is a clip slotted, type 1 action, pre-war Super Grade.

Had one ages ago but I'm sure it was a re-barrel job. Archer I think.

Still got one in 22-250. Collecting dust in a mates safe.

If it's pre-64 the bolt looks like a Mauser 98 bolt with extractor on the outside rh side of the bolt. post 64 up to mid 90's had the extractor in the bolt head , a wee slidy clippy thing. The Mauser type is considered the best type.My 1976 .223 has the wee clippy thing and extraction is a bit ramdom.
