Very interesting L42A1- L13A1 brackets

#1 Post by huntervixen »

Morning all,

On my morning sweep across the tinterweb (Union tea break time) I came across these http://www.thedevizesgunsmith.co.uk/sal ... re-rifles/

Now those of us who have an interest in all things Enfield, will I am sure, have heard mutterings about the "special" bracket designed to allow the S&B from the L96 to be retro fitted on the L42A1.

The original brackets I hear were manufactured in very limited numbers at the bequest of a certain Hereford based Private members club, known for there charitable deeds throughout the world .... bangbang

Quite something to see an L42 fitted with the L13A1 instead of the L1A1 scope, I would go for one in a shot if I was lucky enough to own such a beast, it would be great to see and shoot the L42 in its final guise.

Going to take a look at these when I get a chance to get over to Devizes...
