Now those of us who have an interest in all things Enfield, will I am sure, have heard mutterings about the "special" bracket designed to allow the S&B from the L96 to be retro fitted on the L42A1.
The original brackets I hear were manufactured in very limited numbers at the bequest of a certain Hereford based Private members club, known for there charitable deeds throughout the world ....
Quite something to see an L42 fitted with the L13A1 instead of the L1A1 scope, I would go for one in a shot if I was lucky enough to own such a beast, it would be great to see and shoot the L42 in its final guise.
Going to take a look at these when I get a chance to get over to Devizes...
