Still shoot a Falling Plate match at the Aberdeen Wapinschaw. September at Black Dog Range.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Great fun i got to shoot 3 times 1st was ok - got 2 plates, 2nd - my No4 rim locked & the ejector screw went awol, so i dumped the mag & fished out 3 rnds & hohum got 2 plates :-) , 3rd with club no 4 worked fine got 7 off & got guess how many ..yep 2!

I make an appearance in the video ttiuwp - well a bit of me does! aaarggh

I will defo enter next year & have asked Mr Mercer if we can have falling plate arrays at Bisley please.

& my fav chemical is :-) 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine.......... used to kill frogs.... but widely consumed & in vast quantities by the French? Eh?

The only time i've shot plates was about 34 years ago using No.4's with the cadets.If i remember correctly they sat on a railway sleeper type of thing on the monifieth range backstop,i hit the sleeper and four out five plates fell.

Wish could get that sort of luck now.

You wouldn't get that sort of luck with a 5.56. lol
