Introduction to shooting - hlf a day
A friend at work has asked me if I know anywhere in the Oxford area where he and a group of friends could do a half day's introduction to rifle shooting.
I'm not exactly sure what sort of thing he is exactly looking at, but I gather it is for some kind of birthday/annual get together thing and rifle/target shooting was one of the few things he'd not done yet.
Does anyone have any ideas of a place to contact?
Cheers!

If London is not too far, my club does an open morning once a month where your friend & his mates could try archery, black powder revolvers, air rifles & pistols, gallery rifle with .38 under-lever and .22 rifles.

I know it isn't live fire, but would one of the multi activity days be worth suggesting:

The NRA do corporate days otherwise the only legal way is a guest day at a H.O. approved club.User702 wrote:A friend at work has asked me if I know anywhere in the Oxford area where he and a group of friends could do a half day's introduction to rifle shooting.

Bit of a trek from Oxford area but Minsterley Ranges in Shropshire do an introduction to shooting lesson with an instructor.

NRA are having a guest day on Stickeldown on Saturday 22nd August 2015. But you need I NRA member for each two guests, which might not work for a general interest party
Who? Me? Really?
