slots for mods

#1 Post by hobbesy »

I've just put in for some more slots on my FAC, including mods for most of my rifles. So the question would be when the FEO asks why what's the best answer? I already have a slot for a .30 mod for my hand rifle.

Cheers

on my last variation, I asked for a 9mm mod, I left the reason part blank and was granted it. I've never had them ask me why I want something, But then again, I do live in the best county

wasn't there a discussion on here somewhere saying that health and safety wasn't a valid 'need'

No idea but it's highly unlikely they will turn it down on those grounds.

I've used H&S as a valid reason for all my mods, but I'm with GMP.

Quite the opposite.

I was one of the first to ask for a mod for target shooting in Herts. Caused a big meeting between Herts and Home Office etc.

Upshot was, health and safety is a valid reason.

ok, did a quick search,
http://full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... r&start=20

les's post might have been the one I saw, but i seem to remember more of a discussion on it....

me personally, I think H&S should be valid anyway, but I just left my reason blank, let them make up their own mind, everything else on my ticket is for target anyway, so that would be my only reason, that and improved accuracy
