Me too. I called Neil and put in an email request for one in FDE. bought a host. 10/22 rifle the other day for £165 off a dealer, when I got it home it had a 2 3/4lb trigger pull, and some fancy bits inside but had never been cleaned.

Ever.

I got hold of it through a friend who lives in the states buying it for me then posting it over. He listed the package contents as being a polymer rifle stock and it came through without any problems.

I only built it as a fun gun but it works really well. I shot it at the Steel Challenge at Shield the other day and came 7th with it, a bit of practice and I think it will be very competitive

How easy is it to change mag in the heat of competition?
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Mag changes are easy once you have practiced a bit. Only a fraction slower now than a conventional set up.

Is that really the point of it though? For comps, far more appropriate bits of kit about, this, however, is about..... Yyyyyeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!

I'd give that cabinet room all day purely for the "Cool Factor"!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Got fed up with the Nordic Components kit, superbly made but it just made my 10/22 look like another "AR" lookalike, which I didn't like because a 10/22 simply isn't an AR.

So went for the bullpup route and ended up with a Cbprs Raider (the Cbprs Raptor kit has been around a little longer but it's a bit more chunky and looks too "busy"). Aluminium chassis, undoing 4 screws strips it down enough to get at the guts, no need to remove optics or barreled action from the chassis for cleaning. Thankfully my old skool Parker Hale type Helston moderator fits in the block in the end of the chassis as my barrel was too short to reach the end of the chassis at 16".

Intending to get it cerakoated when funds allow.
