I have a Magnetospeed.
It fits everything I have tried it on, unfortunately that does not include a SMLE. I might try next weekend if one turns up.
Pros:
It does not require shutting down the range, e.g. Century, to to go forward and set up screens.
Easy to use, very uncomplicated.
Reliable.
Cons:
It moves, of course, the point of impact. So you may measure fall of shot or MV, but not both for the same shot thus test batches must be larger.

Has anyone thought to e mail the manufacturer of the Magnetospeed to ask the if it will fit an SMLE / No 4? Even better tell them to pull their finger out and make one that does.

I have spoken with the manufacturer on this and some other points, they didn't know but said that if I bought one and it didn't then they would give me the money back.

Mine worked fine, until I accidentally shot it with a.45 ACP.. ..
I did only hit one of the wires that stick out to hold the sunshade bit, but it loosened one of the sensors, so I never trusted it completely after that...!!

I have a V3 and my mate who's shooting with me next week has a No4 I'll try it out on it and post my findings :)
