Reminds me of when I worked on 2000 AKs captured from the PLO. My job was to catalogue them into type and country of origin etc.GeeRam wrote:I wonder what these guys would say if you told them that these things sell for $35k+ in the USA.......froggy wrote:Good idea... After all, the above user of his ST-44 brother is probably on the back of a lorry on his way to London to claim his refugee status as we speak , to meet his well integrated brother that got a job at Heathrow thanks to his ingenious skills...
And that it isn't. its more like an enlarged AK. You took the bait and I reeled you. But in the US, its all they've got as the real Drag's are $10k plus and here it might be a cheaper way of having a straight pull 7.62x54. I don't know... but we live in interesting times. Maybe your interrupted action AK or Drag is closer than you think maybesnayperskaya wrote:The PSL is not a Dragunov!Sixshot6 wrote:The Cugir PSL might be an alternative for people who wanted but couldn't get a Dragunov. You're on the wrong forums, try ones centered around connecticut and you mind find some info and and yeah you didn't fall, but I think I've found your bat-signal. And the working prototype, a proof of concept really will be unveiled 2nd week of June. Plus not all US gun forums know of it. It was a surprise to some of them to hear of it. And there is a good reason to wait. A reason that makes ownership more likely. I stumbled on it really. It was all one big accident really.snayperskaya wrote:Sixshot6 wrote:snayperskaya wrote:
As for the "new" AK/whatever.....when are the cryptic messages and "winking" smilies going to turn into some proper info?.I know you have said it will be when the bloke in the States is ready to divulge more details but I can't help wondering why he is going through you?, have you experience in the design and development of firearms?.I can't find anything about it on US forums etc so how are you privy to information about it?

Now is that a sign that modern military kit is in short supply, or that there are jihadis who are firearms enthusiasts?
