Reminds me of when I worked on 2000 AKs captured from the PLO. My job was to catalogue them into type and country of origin etc.

But in the US, its all they've got as the real Drag's are $10k plus and here it might be a cheaper way of having a straight pull 7.62x54. I don't know... but we live in interesting times. As for the "new" AK/whatever.....when are the cryptic messages and "winking" smilies going to turn into some proper info?.I know you have said it will be when the bloke in the States is ready to divulge more details but I can't help wondering why he is going through you?, have you experience in the design and development of firearms?.I can't find anything about it on US forums etc so how are you privy to information about it?

You're on the wrong forums, try ones centered around connecticut and you mind find some info and and yeah you didn't fall, but I think I've found your bat-signal. And the working prototype, a proof of concept really will be unveiled 2nd week of June. Plus not all US gun forums know of it. It was a surprise to some of them to hear of it. And there is a good reason to wait. A reason that makes ownership more likely. I stumbled on it really. It was all one big accident really.

So the information is already out there in the public domain via "Internet Land" and you are playing at "keeping secret"....? A bit of effort with a couple of search engines would obviously turn it up in that case.

I think the guys in the pic are Syrian rebels, and are using anything that will go bang I suppose.That Garand looks to be in good condition and the guy has what look like original bandoliers for it so I wonder if it has been lifted from a museum or collection.
