You're doing your stats all wrong mate...the trick is to only remember the good scores and bin the bad ones ;)

I'm going to have another crack at the 1500...which should be OK, as it's almost impossible not to improve on my last score razz

Right, time to hit the road...hopefully see you at another meeting...

Good luck, still doing this wallhead with the 1500 but we'll get there or at least somewhere close to there.

I'm slightly gutted that I missed out on getting a chance to compete in the F Class 4/5/600 yards shoot (slightly too late registering), but I'll be there for the Sunday morning 8/9/1000 yard FT/R.

My current plan is to get to site early afternoon on the Saturday, have a mooch around the trade stands, have a beer or two at the ATSC, then crash at Hythe Lodge. If any one else is around, look out for the tall bloke.

I only found out yesterday that I can get time off. So, most of the events I would have entered were fully booked.

Managed to enter McQueen and the three slug shotgun matches.

Will be giving my LMT its very first try in competition. And only my second time actually using it since picking it up !

I visited yesterday, Friday, AM to collect some ordered kit and was very disappointed. A large number of tables in the Pavilion were empty and there were few people about. Prices were silly and there was little new, just the same 'brown sticks'.

I hope it livened up for the afternoon and the rest of the weekend but I won't be visiting on the first day again.

So, who's up for a beer tonight then? ATSC at 7:30?

I was hoping that it would be better today but it wasn't. Half the stands in the pavilion were empty.

On the plus side the NRA have certainly got their act together regarding the cleanliness of the ablutions blocks.

Crikey. I went about three years ago and it was rammed with amazing stuff. There were loads of tents outside as they'd run out of space inside.

What's changed?

Rate per day for a table took a hefty price jump...plus p*sspoor admin. meant regular allocated spots were dished out to anyone who asked...
Petrol price rises also meant that the break even point, when the stall price rise was added to it, became unrealistic, making it unfeasible to trade.

In the PISTOL AD days it was the NRA that organised show spaces on NRA space at Bisley...priced on such a way to make it affordable to anyone wishing to club together wirh a mate and run a stall to clear out the spares drawers/boxes.

Healrhy trade could be restored if the NRA offered stalls again....
