UK prices I see them at seem to start at £300-£450 & increase from there.
Russian capture examples are at the lower end of the price ranges, unless all matching (original matching, not electro-pencil "matching")
K98 Value??

Re: K98 Value??
Ex Norwegian K98's chambered in 792x57mm still turn up occasionally, usually in excellent condition due to the fact that they weren't issued and went straight to store. The Norwegians found themselves with way more German firearms than they needed after WW2.
The Norwegian AF in-particular did however use many ex German WW2 firearms, well into the 1970's for airfield defence, MP38/40's in particular, usually maintained in excellent condition (see attached pristine MP38 with Airforce ownership markings).

Nice MP38
I'd love to have a go with pristine one.
Sadly, the only MP40 I've fired was less than pristine, and was a loose as a pair of whore's draws.....

Re: K98 Value??
I'd say around £400-£500.
Bought my 1935 S/42G RC K98 for £400 two years ago and I'd never part with it.
Shot it today on STANTA out to 500m.
