Maggot wrote:Gaz, I see no reason why you cannot, I have seen it done on SS and at longer ranges on Century, however, whatever you plan doing, dont speculate, run it past the range office and get the difinitive version.
This way when some old fart is harrumphing about the noise, high morale, ignorant youth etc and starts whining to the range office, they can give him the brush off ASAP.
We had one harrumphing in the butts about the rapid fire during the last CSR league shoot.
I always stipulate I will be shooting the Kama Sutra, this way they stick you where you cant do any harm (In a rubber room). clapclap
All I do is ask the range office for clearance to use "sporting stances" when I put the booking in. I've had that cleared back to 300yds in the past, provided they know what we're doing in advance they're quite happy to fit us in.
As for the rapid fire. I've read the range regs and I know what we're permitted to safely do. Be that rapid fire, fixing bayonets, positions...... bring on the moaning old farts!
Obviously...sorry mate, it was bogbrush that was asking........
Well, the NRA cocked up the AM booking and the only range space available when I found out what they'd done was in the afternoon, which nobody could make...

Bummer, good effort on your part though, are you going to try again?
