Re: New British Army Rifle?
Eh?
.Some versions have an ALO or "automatic lockout", a small projection at the base of the trigger. This was first included on the Irish Defence Forces variant of the rifle, and soon after, the Australian Defence Forces variant. In the exposed position the ALO stops the trigger being squeezed past the semi-automatic position. If needed, the ALO can be pushed up to permit automatic fire
Re: New British Army Rifle?
I explain it and then you still do this, like you were doing before. At this point, I'm not trying to boast, be an armchair general or anything. Just stating that is one of the differences between Aussie and normal (i.e original Austrian design) Aug's. The fact that you're doing this again and have said Eh, twice in row shows to me that you have very little in the way of manners. I am supposed to have a hard time seeing social cues and yet I know not to do that. I don't care if you think this personal but right now I'm being as civil as I can be. So stop doing this, if you are what you say you (and on the record I have no military service whatsoever, it wasn't the place for me and I would have been too much of a liability in a place like Iraq or Afghanistan. I don't have the mentality to be the person needed for that) gives you no excuse to do this. I answered your question in a Civil manner and you still do this.John MH wrote:Eh?
Next time I might not be so civil, so I ask one last time for you to stop doing this and show some courtesy.

Exactly Ordnance. He seems to be a loop at times. I only hope I can stay Civil this time.ordnance wrote:Eh?

And thanks for giving a bit more background on what I said, but I thought I was being clear about some versions having what to me is a selector switch to aid with training the use of full auto fire a bit better. Thank you, you and Fedyakin are the most civil people on this board.

Not being rude, just don't know what you are posting about. Is it interweb or CoD knowledge or hands on?Sixshot6 wrote:I explain it and then you still do this, like you were doing before. that's like criticizing someone for driving a car without knowing the inns and outs of mechanisms. At the end of the day, you don't need experience to have an idea of how something works and most of either don't have access to all the fancy manuals or schematics so we use the web for what its for. To find information and improve our knowledge. Stop being so snide.John MH wrote:Inteweb quote, no practical experience?ordnance wrote:Eh?

I'm not even a fan of call of duty. I hate those games. Not everyone under 40 plays them. Hell I regard them as the Mcdonalds of the video game world, no substance at all. Right now you are making generalizations and that is not on.John MH wrote:Not being rude, just don't know what you are posting about.
