You must be hard to please lol or visiting the smallest Cabelas there is. What are you looking for or thinking of? Obvioulsy the stuffwe want is banned but plenty accessories of you're into hunting shooting or fishing.

I used to get Columbioa c;lothing etc till I found an Outlet store near the range in AZ, much cheaper...they aslo do 5.11 clothing and all sorts of heavy duty stuff.....Jeans you can get in Walmart! Last trip to the USA I brought back a load of Lodge Logic cast iron cookware (from Walmart) - way cheaper than the big name hunting stores and of course cheaper than the UK. It was something different for them at security!

Blackstone Merlot is good...around $6.00 a bottle at Walmart - again

Maybe some of the members on here will give you a wishlist of things they'd like you to bring back?

Cabela stores are packed with goodies, is there a Bass Pro near you - give them a try.

We'll start with a case of the Blackstone Merlot if it's as good as Chuck says...

I find Cabelas stock to be fairly random.
I have been to a couple in the US.
Its a great day out though!
If you want something specific order it and have it sent to where you are staying.
Natchez or Bruno are pretty good.

Blackstone do a range of wines - all good. Didn't realise you were comparing to Canada greenshoots.

TBH it pays to shop around - as usual. Cabela is a great place to browse (and if you're a brit really upset yourself) but a lot of their "everyday" stuff can be picked up cheaper elsewhere.

Still, nothing beats filling a shopping cart with all kinds of ammo off the shelf...............

I live in Nanaimo, a short distance from the Cabelas you will be visiting. In terms of shooting supplies there is less selection than the Cabelas in the USA. There isn't much in the way of powder, primers and .22 cartridges coming across the border into Canada.
