He was bullied at school. He is bullied in the Police station by younger, prettier, handsomer people. He wanted to be a train driver when he was a boy, but his Dad wanted him to be an Accountant. He liked the idea of being an Accountant or perhaps an Estate Agent. He thinks that he is the most important/powerful person as he enters your door and has power over life and death. And more importantly - he is a knob!
signfunnypost How long were you in the Diplomatic Service then lol lol lol

I served in the Dipser in Australia in the mid 70s to 90s under the wing of the Australian Ambassador to the Court of St.James whose name is Sir Les Patterson. Boy could this bugger drink and his appetite for anything greasy was unbelievable. His tie/shirt always came of worse and his 'other' appetite for young ladies particularly from Thailand, was legendary. I tried to follow in his footsteps but couldn't keep up (metaphorically speaking).
I always remember the day when the Ambassador of Sri Lanka visited Sir Les and the randy bugger was goosing the Ambassadors wife and daughter within ten minutes. What a guy and they don't make em like that anymore! Ah the good old days when you could fondle women with impunity.

My personal view is that I own firearms and I think we should all pedantically push that point, if for nothing else, so we can sue the arses off the anti's when the libel us. I remember telling the local plod to mind his language as we don't use the W word in this house.

Firearm should be our nigger.

goodjob

100% agreement. My FEO even corrects himself now.

ACPO should be pushed by the representative bodies to ensure all documents reflect this. The fact is, where do FEOs, who are in the majority, civilian staff, acquire their terminology?

No, we claim the good word. Firearm, for our exclusive use and ensure the bad word, Weapon, is used on every one else. For example, armed forces have weapons, criminals have weapons, police have weapons, we don't take part in activities that need weapons, we use firearms.

Play the anti's brand of politics on themselves.

I took it that the word "Weapon" should be stigmatised as has happened to the word "nigger" and so effectively removed from everyday vocabulary in regards to certificated firearms/shotguns...
