RCBS 10/10 scales discontinued.

#1 Post by 1066 »

It look like RCBS are discontinuing the 10/10 and the 502 scales and have introduced a couple of new beam scales.

Midway USA no longer list the 10/10 although it's still listed at Brownells USA (£99) and Brownells UK (£199).

Over the last 3-4 years I've found the quality of the RCBS beam scales has really slipped. Although the recent scales are still marked "Manufactured by Ohaus, USA" they are in fact actually made in China or Mexico.

Here's a glimpse of the new scales.

Brownells UK can stick their 199 GBP scale where the sun doesn't shine. A correlation between dollars / GBP I can just about accept when importing from the USA but double the price is just blatent urine extraction ****
