Re: Need sponsors for Severnside Rifle Club!
But they don't say you must be known to the club before you can start your probation do they?
Re: Need sponsors for Severnside Rifle Club!
I still say, joining a local small-bore club is the way to go, a few members will without doubt shoot fullbore, so when you are a full member, you can go along with them to Severnside or wherever and go about getting membership there.
Going direct to a dedicated fullbore club is a difficult (but not impossible) approach to gaining club membership and your FAC, unless you personally know a member who can vouch for you.

Bristol and District Rifle and Pistol Club, Bristol Muzzleloaders and Worcester Norton Shooting Club all shoot at Severnside. If you can't join Severnside just join one of the above, do your 3 months probation, get your FAC then join Severnside or attend Severnside shoots as an FAC holder. Otherwise take up Dave T's kind offer.

The FCSA(UK) have just secured a range licence for Rogiet Moor 600m CGR next door - this is effective from 1st April and we will be making the most of this with regular bookings.
Details will be on our website soon, but in the meantime you can e-mail me on mike@fcsa.co.uk or via here for more details.
Mike
ps- we have secured access to several other ranges also, including Salisbury plain which should give us straight lines out to in excess of 6km.
