Dolphin scope stand

These were mentioned in another thread, and I wondered if anyone has used one alongside a Ewing and can compare - weight, stability etc.
I'm thinking of getting a new stand for TR/MR prone and coaching (seated) positions, typically with Kowa 77/82mm scopes.

I have a Ewing and I've tried the Dolphin.

The Ewing is just about the best spotting scope stand I've tried when shooting prone.

However, the Dolphin was developed for a slightly different purpose - namely F Class shooting.
Some of the F Class guys like a spotting scope right next to their rifle - so the scope has to be cantilevered to get it close to the rifle's scope. Hence the long arm on the Dolphin.

The scope is usually trained on adjacent targets or maybe a distant flag.
