A few years back, I bought my young son a Browning 20G shotgun; in the hope that he would get interested in shooting sports. He's 14 now, and never really used it--he prefers a Ruger 10/22. I never use it either, so it seems silly to leave it unused in the cabinet. I could also put the funds towards a new Ruger 10/22, configured to my needs, not his!
