Alarm upgrade

I've had a burglar alarm on my house for years but recently added a GSM autodialler to tell me if it's triggered.

This is the device I used:

It fits in the control box and is programmed by text message. I particularly like the ability to get the SIM card balance and also it will send me a text every month which stops the network cutting it off for not being used.

Fire up the laptop, log in to the CCTV then call the rapid reaction force and talk them in.

It works! My phone rang at work this morning and the caller was ALARM.

With some trepidation I called my wife, who confessed that she had set the alarm, left the house then opened the garage aaarggh .
