Machine guns in Vegas

Hi all, looking for some advice…

I’ve been to Vegas several times over the years but never managed to drag myself to one of the many shooting ranges. I’m going back in July and am looking for good value range with a decent selection of firearms, anybody have experience / advice?

Take your passport and money, that's all you'll need. For handguns they tend to just hand the gun and ammo over the desk and leave you to it. You then walk through a set of double door locks to get to the range. For fully auto they tend to supervise, load and hand over to shoot. Can recommend www.americanshooters.com.

I have been to most if not all, best and friendliest by far for me was Battlefield Vegas, right behind Circus Circus. They have all the WW2 stuff, we had an MG42, BAR, Thompson etc etc but we do like the older stuff. When they found out we were shooters here they even gave us a guided tour, including their armoury which the call "Fort Knox". Biggest problem is you need plenty of money, I spent about $500 in less than an hour, Oh and they also pick you up in a Hummer !!!

Yep, American Shooters for me. Been to a couple of them and this is the best IMO. Wife and I rented a couple of handguns & rifles and spent quite a few happy hours blatting away at targets. Ammo was cheap as well. Plenty of choice and, as stated previously, they leave you alone with the guns you rent unless going full auto.

Depends what you want to shoot,

If you want variety then the ranges mentioned are fine.

If you want value for money then you cant beat Clark county shooting range. (this is where the locals go to shoot)

30 mins drive north of the city, but I think $8 range fee, $10 firearms hire and ammo at walmart prices (buy as much as you like).

Most professional, safe and also friendly and inviting range I have been to ANYWHERE...!!!

Only disadvantage is the range of hire weapons on offer. I beleive they are sponsored by beretta so hire weapons include, 3 pistols a couple of rifles and a couple of shotguns.

Rifles ranges to 200 yards with approx 100 firing points and the biggest clay facility I have ever seen.

Can anyone recommend a long range/sniper type shooting range in the Las Vagas area, I'm not worried about machine guns but to shoot up to a .338/.50 would be good

No problems for ammo, but buy a six pack of beer and they'll ask to see some ID. aaarggh

I haven't been asked for ID for many years now. I now ask if they would like to see ID but the reply is usually "no your good grandpa" My oldest kid will be 35 this year and still gets asked for it in bars, not so much the shops though.
