probably a stupid question but will ask anyway,
after a good days shooting using normal priv stuff, would you put down a wet patch first or bronze brush , just really looking to see the methods used and in what order, ie wet brush, wet patch dry patch etc brush etc
no ones really explained a good way of basic cleaning, suppose i have never asked before

Just found this thred - very interesting :geek:

I only get to shoot TR half a dozen times a year, but had noticed that my 'A' sighter tended to be lower (by about 1 MOA) than my 'B' sighter. I've had a look at my score card from last year, and 4/6 (the others being my aim  ) of them from the morning 300 shoot have the 'A' sighter lower. I had always thought this was due to the 'warming' of the barrel in the first few shoots. However, looking at the afternoon 600 shoots (with dirty barrel) my 'A' and 'B' sighters are pretty much level  . On the 300 shoots I had taken an average of 'A' and 'B' which tended to lead to a slightly high shot '1' - In future I will use the 'B' sighter in the morning for the first elevation adjustment.

Cheers,

John
