What - you haven't worked it out yet?

It's pretty damned obvious from where I'm standing.

I think it was the comment about weaving a gun slip out of yoghurt...

Well, it made me chuckle anyways :p

Yes it went off on a tangent like most topics on here but I've seen topics get worse than that without being locked!.

I agree, no one was being insulted personally, no bad language was being used, so what was the problem?

Hi Blu, thanks for that mate cheers. I certainly didn't mean anything personally. As far as I was aware the purpose of a forum is to debate things or have I missed something?.

Some of the threads on AKfiles and the like would make some folks spit their tea out and crumple their newspaper!!!.

people (and politician) power works for gun owners in the USA:

http://news.yahoo.com/feds-abandon-plan ... itics.html
More than 80,000 people have commented on the proposal to ban certain types of 5.56 mm, or .223 caliber, ammunition since the agency announced its proposal last month. An ATF spokeswoman, Ginger Colbrun, said the vast majority of comments were critical of the proposal.

Objections also came from 291 members of Congress — majorities of both the House and Senate.
Can you imagine OUR lot doing that! Nahh neither can I.

Chuck, I imagine the the US NRA taking the BATF to court had something to do with it as well. I reckon they knew as soon as it went before a Judge it was going to get thrown out due to the pitiful reason they came up with for the proposed ban. People power wins again mate usflag.gif

Forgot to say that when this first announced I dropped an email to both my Representative and State Senator and also encourage all the NRA members in my area to do the same. Also asked neighbours and members at the club to email their Representatives and Senators.

That was my fault probably. Got yoghurt in the thread.

Got to go, my homemade lentil soup is boiling over onto my Rayburn.
