Both are fine, I guess it depends whether the scope or the red-dot is more important to you.

Yeah, the cheek weld is appalling with that scope. Might be good with a red dot. Barrel next.....

Just bought a Nordic Components chassis for my 10/22. I know they are not everyone's cup of tea but I have an AR already and didn't fancy px'ing for a 15/22. Colour probably not to everyone's taste either but I wanted something other than the obligatory olive drab or flat dark earth.

Nope, red tart parts were done by me with Rustoleum (red bits may be done in Dura or Cerakoate in the future depending how the paint holds up).

The pic below is the gun when I bought it minus the scope, mod and bipod.
