See the attached and the embedded link:

http://www.65guys.com/cartridge-case-an ... equipment/

Of the two sources, one says 750 used on the inside of the neck, the other says 650 as a starting point but with a need to experiment. Most people apply a 400-deg Tempil stripe on the outside of the lower case body too when setting the annealing machine up to ensure that the lower case body / web / case-head area is not being softened by the setting used.

I've been looking a lot into Annealing machines the past couple of days and its disappointing the lack of support we get in the UK. Understandable, but disappointing all the same. Bench Source are expensive before looking to import one :(

We got any members who have successfully made one on here and could provide instructions and parts list?

We have commissioned a build of some - once they are done I will post the specs and details. These are primarily designed for .50bmg and .338lm cases but can be adapted quite easily.

As I say once they are with us, I will post the info.

I believe ovenpaa has built annealing machines but I don't know whether he builds them to sell.

So should I be buying 650c or 700c tempilstiks any one.

This was the very first one I made during testing, probably about three years ago. I eventually went to a DOGA drive system which although bigger was far more robust.
