Invictus Practical Group Buy?

#1 Post by Demonic69 »

I'm contemplating ordering some caddies from Invictus as nowhere stocks the AP stuff, not even AP, and Invictus works out a similar price to the Taccom gear, just something a bit different.
Shipping for what I want is $45 but it's only $65 max if someone wanted to go in. It's only really cost-effective if 3 or more go in as there would still be postage charges once it's in the UK.
It'll be a week or so before I get around to ordering so let me know if you want anything and we'll sort it out.

Cheers

What AP stuff are you after? I have some in, and next shipment is due to leave in 2 weeks (they've had months of manufacturing delays), and then another due to leave in about 4 weeks.

Also got a shipment of all Taccom on it's way over as we speak (might even be in the country now)

I've tried the IP stuff, and I wasn't impressed, so chose not to stock it (cartridges fell out if I ran!)

I was considered 2 88s from IP or the equivalents, though AP seem insanely expensive compared to the competition. I understand their stuff is really quality but I can't justify the extra £100 for a simple setup.
Ideally I want to hold at least 24 rounds loading quads. So the double-deuces would be OK from Taccom.
It's a shame about the IP stuff, most reviews are really positive, seem to sit in-between Taccom and AP.

I know what you mean about the cost of the APC stuff. It *is* expensive, but you get what you pay for, and everyone that I know has tried them has loved them.

I was really disappointed the the IP caddies, especially as I ran them for a match while I was in the US! Talked to a couple of sponsored US shooters about them, who all gave positive reviews...but were all sponsored by IP.. make of that what you will!

Techguy, are you getting some double deuces in? What's the price with Tek-Locks?
Cheers

Yes I am.. should be with me by the weekend (sitting in UK customs at the moment)

Probably about £50 with a tek-lok. Will confirm shortly...
