Sig Sauer P226 LBP

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Shot the Buckmark and 1911 plus had hold of the K22. As far a fit for me this is the best I have fired and held. If you do not agree go and fire the Sig you can then have first hand knowledge.

In the past I have shot and owned a Colt Python, S&W Offficer Special and. Colt .45 1911. So have some experiance, but it is still only my own opinion

Obviously I can't speak for qws, but I've shot a buckmark, k22 and a low mills 1911 and I've just bought a Sig. I think the Sig is the best available because it fits me the best and in my opinion has the best build quality.

I also think it looks the best, maybe that doesn't factor highly in some people's minds, but in this instance it does for me. I just think it looks cool.

Cheers,

Mark.

Hi a very quick video of one of the first shots with the Sig Sauer P226 complete with bottom rail mounted laser sight and light. Showing hold open on last round

I can only imagine how much the barrel extension makes it difficult to correct muzzle flip.

Try this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZMGILNfGHM

I must admit to have been very interested in these when I read the spec in the advert quoted on the first page of this thread, then it turned out they are 22LR and not 9mm. As nice as I'm sure they are there's no way I'd pay £1350 for a 22LR pistol no matter who made it, 9mm, 10mm, 45acp etc. then I'd be interested.

It's worth remembering the strange rules around these guns too. Only a person with that serial numbered gun on their FAC may handle the pistol.

Aside from dealers, only the owner can touch the pistol.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I've always been told.

That's not exactly legally right, though the home office are trying to make it so
